Mounting brackets for probe FSV & FSH

The clamping ring is our standard mounting device for an adjustable probe range from 0-50 mm (2″). The bolt hole diameter from 100 mm is the same as the mounting diameter from our FS1 moisture probe, which allows an easy & quick exchange if necessary. The clamp ring fits on our slider plate or in your discharge chute with up to 50 mm (2″) material thickness.

50° Wall mount50° Wall mount. This boltable bracket allows a setup into the upright wall from a discharge funnel, directly above the discharge gate. It’s thick walled 8 mm (5/16″) housing protects the probe from harsh abrasion. Secured is this stainless steel bracket by 4 stainless steel 3/8″ bolts.

The slider plate is the perfect solution to measure material on a conveyor belt. This plate can hold a FSV (with clamping ring) and FS1 type probe. Hole and bolt hole pattern fits both sensors.

Mounting brackets & accessories for probe FSA

There are 3 different length of mounting arms available. 0.2 mtr. for areas which are very close to the discharge gate, 0.5 mtr. for set-ups up to 24″ above the discharge gate, and 1.0 mtr. for silos/hoppers with a very low angle. The max. mounting hight from 24″ should not be exceeded, but due to the lower angle of the bin is a longer arm sometimes necessary.

90° Arm bracket recommended for silo bins with an angle between 45° and 90° (vertical)

*********************************************************************************

30° Arm bracket recommended for silo bins with an angle below 45°, if flipped over it can be used as a 60° angle where needed.

*********************************************************************************

Hinged 90° mounting brackets allow more possibilities. During the winter time especially if the aggregate bin/hopper is outside it can come to build-up in the discharge area due to frozen chunks. To keep the arm probe safe you just have to pull the arm back and open the hinged gate. This setup is only recommended for sand bins.

*********************************************************************************

High material flow, or abrasive material can cause wear & tear to your arm probe head. For this situation we recommend a 8 mm (5/16″) thick wear sleeve for the FSA head. It will be secured with 6 set screws.

*********************************************************************************

We recommend the use of this external potentiometer box for almost every FSA (arm probe) or every other probe if there is no access to the probe after set-up. All our probes are calibrated for sand, if you are going to use different material or like to change the material in your bin ones in a while, we highly recommend to choose the calibration option or external calibration box for easy access.

Sometimes a cable gets damaged between the probe and the next safe cable tray/conduit. That why all our probes come with a 4 mtr. cable for exchange. There are three different types of plug & screw connector for our sensor cable available. The 5-pin connector for our standard probes, the 8-pin connector for our probes with external potentiometer box, and the 12-pin connector for our probes with optional temperature sensor PT-100 and external potentiometer box.
