Many concrete producer still have a Hydronix Hydro-Mix 5 and/or 6 microwave sensor built into their mixer. Those sensors will last a long time under normal use and regular adjustments. Over the last few years Hydro-Mix 7 and now Hydro-Mix 8 entered the market and replaced the older models, spare parts are now only for the last three models available.
Factory refurbishment for Hydro-Mix 5 and 6 is no longer available.
Hydro-Mix 5 and 6 owners now have to replace those sensor models, make some software modifications (if necessary) and install the latest sensor = Hydro-Mix 8 into their mixer.
Wear parts for Hydro-Mix 6 sensors are going to be available until approx. end of 2022.
All versions, Hydro-Mix 5 to Hydro-Mix 8 have the same diameter and can be exchanged without any problems.
